Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Hardware Asset Management Analyst to join our Global Technology Services and Support Team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that hardware assets are accurately onboarded, deployed, discovered, and populated in the Asset Management Database (AMDB)/Configuration Management Database (CMDB).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of assets, including servers, desktops, laptops, network equipment, virtual, cloud, and container-based assets across all stages of their lifecycle.
  • Track all hardware asset inventories globally from acquisition to decommission.
  • Work closely with vendors and suppliers for hardware purchase, warranty, and maintenance.
  • Partner with IT Configuration Management to populate and update the configuration management database with accurate information.
  • Liaise with other groups, such as software asset management, configuration management, network, and information security, and all business segments for seamless asset management.
  • Govern and audit the ITAD process to ensure accurate and responsible decommission, disposal, destruction, recycling, and harvesting of hardware during its lifecycle.
  • Perform inventory checks, validations and attestations of all hardware classes to ensure completeness, correctness and compliance with ITAM and risk standards.
  • Manage and produce real time, on-demand hardware reports, metrics etc. via dashboards in ITAM tools.
  • Manage and resolve intake requests, incidents and inquiries related to hardware lifecycle management.
  • Initiate forensic investigations and reviews of hardware assets to uncover non-compliance, policy and process breaches, reduce risk, and remediate issues.
