Job Title: Bookkeeper - Financial Record Specialist

PRINCESS NAILS is seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper - Financial Record Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare tax returns
  • Prepare trial balance of books
  • Reconcile accounts
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
