About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Worker to join our team at GVN Structures Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal products surfaces.
  • Immerse metal products in cleaning solutions to ensure thorough cleaning.
  • Assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, metal machine operators, or other metal workers in various tasks.
  • Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools to achieve precise results.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Read and interpret work orders to understand specific tasks and requirements.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Repetitive tasks require attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Work Term: Permanent position with a regular schedule.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 32 hours per week.
