Job Summary

You will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing individualized care plans for patients with cardiac conditions, as well as collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions.

About the Role
  • You will provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and documenting patient information.
  • You will assess patients' physical and emotional needs, develop individualized care plans, and implement interventions to promote optimal health outcomes.
  • You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and allied health practitioners, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • You will participate in education and training activities to maintain currency in clinical practice and advance professional development.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Current registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
  • Experience working in a cardiac care environment, preferably in a critical care setting.
  • Strong clinical skills, including medication administration, wound care, and invasive procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
