Welder Technician

About the Role:

SSS Services Inc. is seeking an experienced Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our team. As a Welder Technician, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using various welding processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment to fabricate metal parts.
• Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes to determine weldability of materials.
• Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment.
• Work in a team environment to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in metal fabrication.
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and lift heavy objects.

Working Conditions:

• Work site environment: outdoors, confined spaces, dusty, noisy.
• Work setting: residential.
• Tasks: repetitive, physically demanding, manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye co-ordination, standing for extended periods.
