We are seeking a full-time General Cardiologist to join our team at Royal Inland Hospital, located in Kamloops, British Columbia. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to practice great medicine with extensive support and state-of-the-art facilities.

The hospital's Clinical Services Building, opened in 2016, features advanced RACE and Pacemaker clinics. Additionally, the Phil and Jennie Gaglardi Tower, which opened in 2022, includes new operating rooms, surgical services suites, beds, respiratory therapy services, mental health and substance use units, obstetrics services, labour and delivery, and a rooftop helipad.

This position presents opportunities for growth, including the potential to develop an outreach service to remote communities. Our Cardiology group is actively involved in clinical research, participating in four national and international trials. Furthermore, we serve as a training site for medical students and residents through UBC's Southern Medical Program.

Key qualifications include a Doctorate in Medicine and Fellowship with the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) in Cardiology. Coverage with the Canadian Medical Protective Association is mandatory, with on-call requirements being 1:6.
