Adecco Canada is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Millwright to join our client's team in a manufacturing facility. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and efficiency of machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Preventative and Corrective Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance of manufacturing equipment, including troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical issues.
- Preventative Maintenance Program: Perform and help grow our preventative maintenance program to minimize downtime and ensure safety standards are met.
- Mechanical Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Assist with mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostics, including PLC's, to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Equipment Installation and Modification: Install, move, and modify equipment as required, following all maintenance procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory codes.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Document all works carried out through our CMMS system to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance.
- Eligibility and Residency: Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
- Qualifications and Experience: Red Seal ticketed Millwright, Tool and Die maker, Machine Tool Builder, or Industrial Mechanic Benefit, with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience.
- Technical Skills: In-depth familiarity with mechanics, machine shop practices, basic welding skills, and electrical background.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, technical aptitude, ability to work in a high-pressure environment, and excellent communication skills.
- Additional Requirements: Familiarity with PLCs, including Siemens S5 & S7, Allen Bradley SLC 500, Micro Logix, etc., and experience in a manufacturing environment, Lean manufacturing, and 5S standards.
