Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager or Senior Manager to join our Private Enterprise Tax group in Saskatoon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading small and medium-sized client engagements, working closely with other team members on tax planning work, and advising on planning opportunities, tax minimization strategies, and compliance issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead small and medium-sized client engagements and ensure successful project delivery
• Work collaboratively with other team members to provide comprehensive tax planning services to clients
• Develop and implement effective tax-planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Provide guidance and support to junior staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively
• Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure that clients receive the best possible advice

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience specializing in tax in a public accounting firm
• Professional Accounting Designation (e.g., CPA, CA)
• Completion of the In-Depth Tax Course
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members
• Ability to analyze complex tax issues and develop creative solutions

• A competitive salary range: $145,000 - $185,000 per year, depending on experience
