Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Director, Product Commercialization. This is a leadership role that requires a strong background in commercialization and product development, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and scaling businesses efficiently.

About the Job:

As the Director, Product Commercialization, you will be responsible for:
  • Developing and implementing commercialization strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share
  • Solving complex problems and making decisions for specific product initiatives, leveraging your commercial acumen and strategic thinking skills
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful product launches, with a focus on maximizing commercial performance
  • Collaborating with senior management to develop product development roadmaps, incorporating perspectives from various stakeholders
  • Creating 'lite business cases' and Fast-Track Recos for core products, drawing on your experience and expertise

Responsibilities:

Some of your key responsibilities will include:
  • Reporting to the VP, Product Commercialization, directing the best course of action to bridge the gap between product development and market introduction
  • Solving complex problems in an ambiguous environment and making decisions for specific product initiatives
  • Collaborating with senior management to develop product development roadmaps, incorporating perspectives from various stakeholders

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • Strong commercial acumen and judgment, with a minimum of 7-10 years of leadership experience in a related field
  • Experience in product commercialization and/or development, marketing in tech or B2B, business development/sales, cross-functional leadership, change management, loyalty, ancillary revenue, or global experience
  • Results-driven approach, focusing on financial goals without compromising quality
  • Strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to implement change successfully aligned with Plusgrade's long-term strategy
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work with a broad set of stakeholders
