About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Labourer to join our team at Western Canada Transport Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth transportation of goods and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Safely transport tools and equipment on push or hand cars, and assist trucks and delivery drivers to load and unload vehicles.
  • Warehouse Operations: Perform labouring duties in warehouses, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees
  • Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
Support for Youths
  • Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth, providing them with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for youth, helping them to develop their careers and achieve their goals.
Supports for Visible Minorities
  • Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
