About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at GameStop. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Assist the Store Manager in supervising and motivating a team of sales associates to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
  • Merchandise and Services: Collaborate with the Store Manager to determine the types of merchandise and services to be sold, ensuring that they meet the needs of our customers.
  • Staffing and Scheduling: Assist in determining staffing requirements and scheduling to ensure adequate coverage during peak periods.
  • Issue Resolution: Resolve customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise in a timely and professional manner.
  • Computer and Technology: Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and other technology used in the store.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure that all security and safety protocols are followed, including conducting regular inventory checks and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Personal Suitability: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service and teamwork.
