The Volunteer Centre of Calgary is seeking a skilled Director of Fund Development to join our team of dedicated volunteers.
About the Role:
The Director of Fund Development will be part of a committee responsible for executing national-scale fundraisers and establishing collaborations with other organizations to support the Canada CyberSTEAM Challenge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies to support the Canada CyberSTEAM Challenge
- Collaborate with other organizations to secure funding and resources
- Manage and coordinate fundraising events and activities
- Build and maintain relationships with donors and stakeholders
Requirements:
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Prior experience in finance, grant applications, fundraising, or sponsorship seeking is an asset
