We have partnered with a group of businesses to support them in the recruitment process to find their next Liquor Store Manager at About Staffing Ltd.

Job Type: Direct Hire

  • Manage store operations, including product merchandising, staff leadership, hitting sales targets, and maintaining budgetary control.
  • Oversee day-to-day store operations, including inventory control, restocking shelves with a focus on product rotation, and maintaining an appealing and organized store layout.
  • Lead and schedule store staff, ensuring optimal coverage during peak hours, and fostering a customer-focused, service-oriented team.
  • Manage store finances by monitoring expenses, setting sales targets, and optimizing profitability through strategic pricing, inventory turnover, and cost control.
  • Ensure strict adherence to liquor licensing laws, age verification procedures, and health and safety regulations, while maintaining a clean and secure environment for staff and customers.

Post secondary in business an asset. Valid driver's license. Familiarity with local and federal regulations related to liquor laws and workplace safety. 3-5+ years experience in retail, preferably in a liquor store environment, with a proven ability to manage operations, staff, and customer service. Knowledge of budgeting, profit and loss management, and inventory control to ensure the store operates efficiently and meets financial goals. Demonstrated ability to inspire, train, and manage a store team, with hands-on experience in scheduling shifts and conducting performance reviews. Full benefits & relocation package included.
