Dr. S. Gerald Hann Psychological Services is seeking qualified professionals to join our team as contract psychologists. We offer immediate opportunities for clinical, school, and counselling psychologists to provide services across the lifespan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic intervention for a range of issues, including anxiety, mood disorders, somatization, substance abuse, PTSD, relationship and family problems, learning disorders, and child behavioural problems.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans using evidence-based approaches, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), behavioural management approaches, and intensive short-term dynamic psychotherapy (ISTDP).
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Utilize standardized assessment methods and electronic health information systems to inform treatment decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Registered or Candidate Registered Psychologists with NSBEP.
  • Doctoral level preferred, but Masters applicants will be considered.
  • Relevant degree from an accredited university.
  • Post-graduate experience with psychodiagnostic assessment using ISTDP.
  • Familiarity and comfort with using Macintosh computers.
  • Possession of an iPhone or willingness to obtain one.
