About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Professional to join our team at Long Truong Nguyen and Linh My Hong Nguyen. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for coordinating special events, determining food portion sizes and costs, and planning menus to meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate special events and functions, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional customer experience.
  • Determine food portion sizes and costs, taking into account menu offerings and customer preferences.
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements, working closely with our culinary team to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintaining high standards of quality and freshness.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to our culinary standards and presentation guidelines.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Order supplies and equipment, maintaining a well-stocked and efficient kitchen environment.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our staff and customers.
  • Recruit and hire staff, contributing to the growth and development of our culinary team.
  • Manage kitchen operations, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources and personnel.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and suppliers.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
