Job Title: Senior Estimator, Civil

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our team at Kiewit. As a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for developing detailed cost estimates for large, complex projects in the civil infrastructure sector. You will work closely with our project teams to review contract documents, analyze project requirements, and provide expert advice on estimating and cost management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop comprehensive cost estimates for civil infrastructure projects, including highways, bridges, and mass transit systems.
  2. Review and analyze contract documents, including specifications, drawings, and reference information, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  3. Collaborate with project teams to identify project requirements and develop estimating strategies.
  4. Provide expert advice on estimating and cost management to project teams and stakeholders.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, including new equipment, methods, and procedures.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An undergraduate or graduate degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in civil infrastructure estimation, with a strong understanding of estimating software systems.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience working in a team environment and collaborating with project teams.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
