Job Title: ECE Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring ECE Assistant to join our team at Alberta Ltd. As an ECE Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting early childhood educators in providing high-quality care and education to children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist early childhood educators in maintaining accurate records of children's progress and development.
  • Engage children in various activities, such as storytelling, singing, and crafting, to promote their cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
  • Help children develop essential life skills, including eating, dressing, and using the toilet.
  • Prepare healthy snacks and arrange the play area to ensure a safe and conducive learning environment.
  • Contribute to staff meetings to discuss children's progress and any challenges they may be facing.
Work Environment:

As an ECE Assistant, you will work in a dynamic and supportive team environment. The role requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, as well as bending and kneeling to engage with children.

Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment with a 40-hour workweek.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
