Job Title: Personal Care Attendant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Attendant to join our team at Heffermans Guest Home. As a Personal Care Attendant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and hygiene assistance to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and transferring.
  • Monitor and report any changes in residents' physical or emotional condition.
  • Support residents with their medication regimen, as needed.
  • Engage residents in activities and provide companionship to promote their mental and emotional well-being.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in personal care or nursing.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull residents, as needed.
