Golf Course Maintenance Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Golf Course Maintenance Professional to join our team at Clublink. As a key member of our grounds team, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and integrity of our golf courses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including the installation of new features and the repair of existing ones.
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a well-manicured appearance.
  • Cut grass to precise heights and maintain a consistent look across the course.
  • Rake and collect refuse, ensuring the course remains free of debris.
  • Remove litter and garbage, keeping the course clean and safe for players.
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials as needed to maintain the course's appearance.
  • Lay sod or seed to repair damaged areas and promote healthy growth.
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the course's aesthetic appeal.
  • Repair and maintain equipment to ensure it remains in good working order.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens, promoting healthy growth and development.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and other machinery.
Work Environment:

As a Golf Course Maintenance Professional, you will work outdoors in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to handle heavy loads, work in physically demanding conditions, and maintain a high level of manual dexterity and attention to detail.

Requirements:
  • Experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a client-focused attitude.
  • Dependability, organization, and reliability are essential qualities for this role.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with varying weather conditions.
