We currently have a job opening for a Warehouse Logistics Specialist at a leading company in Laval. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of our team.


The salary for this position will be $20 per hour for the first week, with an increase to $21 per hour after the first week. The daytime schedule will be 37.5 to 40 hours per week, from Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm.

Responsibilities

  • Unload products from trucks, with weights ranging from 2 to 12 pounds
  • Use an electric pallet truck, with training provided on-site
  • Receive products from the truck and maintain shipping and receiving logs
  • Ensure the quality of incoming and outgoing products, and maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the warehouse
  • Achieve flawless quality control of goods

Qualifications

  • Technical skills: ideally, warehouse or industrial experience
  • Ability to walk with equipment and/or stand for long periods of time when necessary
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and good planning and time management skills
  • Ability to read, write, and speak French and/or English fluently
