TeleSAFE Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Sexual Assault Forensic Examination (SAFE) Team as a TeleSAFE Consultant. As a TeleSAFE Consultant, you will provide consultation, support, and guidance to onsite staff who may not have SAFE training. You will also support patients and onsite clinicians via phone and/or video to conduct virtual SAFE examinations for patients across the lifespan.

• Provide consultation, support, and guidance to onsite staff who may not have SAFE training.
• Support patients and onsite clinicians via phone and/or video to conduct virtual SAFE examinations for patients across the lifespan.
• Communicate with onsite staff prior to, during, and after the examination, as required, for support and guidance with procedure and documentation.

• Registered Nurse (RN) degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Current registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Experience working in a SAFE or similar environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of an interprofessional care team.

The hourly wage for this position is estimated to be between $49.20 and $63.47 per hour, depending on experience. This position offers flexible work arrangements, including the option to work remotely. Other benefits include:
