Western Pizza is seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
- Order supplies and equipment as needed
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient operations
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Dependability, flexibility, reliability, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures
