We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Electrician to join our maintenance team at Toyota Boshoku Canada. Key Responsibilities- Support Manufacturing Processes: Assist in the maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment, including injection molding, robotics, frame welding, seat assembly, IR ovens, presses, and door panel assembly.
- Perform Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance activities to prevent equipment downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Recommend Technical Solutions: Provide expert advice and recommendations to improve manufacturing processes and equipment efficiency.
- Internal and External Communication: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Effective Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve equipment issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Carry out Kaizen Projects: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes and equipment efficiency.
- Read and Interpret Blueprints, Schematics, Drawings, and Machine Specifications: Analyze and interpret technical documents to ensure accurate maintenance and repair of equipment.
- Licensed Industrial Electrician: Possess a valid license as an Industrial Electrician.
- Multi-Skilled Environment: Be able to work in a multi-skilled environment with maintenance aptitude to learn skills other than area of expertise.
- Strong Organizational, Interpersonal, and Communication Skills: Possess strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
- Good Troubleshooting Skills: Demonstrate effective troubleshooting skills to resolve equipment issues.
- Bi-Weekly Shift Rotation: Be willing to work a bi-weekly shift rotation, including days, afternoons, and weekends.
- Overtime: Be available to work overtime as required.
- Knowledge of Toyota Production System: Possess knowledge of the Toyota Production System, an asset.
- Three to Five Years of Experience: Have three to five years of experience in preventative maintenance, continuous improvement (Kaizen), and breakdown maintenance in an industrial setting.
- Dual Ticket (Electrician & Millwright): Possess a dual ticket (Electrician & Millwright) with PLC programming experience, preferred.
- Starting Rate: $45.87 per hour as a starting rate.
- Salary Increase: $46.65 after six months of employment, $47.43 after one year of employment, $48.99 after two years of employment, and $50.60 after three years of employment.
- Shift Premium: A $2.00 shift premium is added when working the afternoon shift.
- Dual Ticket Premium: A $1.05 premium is added for dual ticket holders.
- Overtime Pay: Overtime is paid 1.5 times your regular wage after 40 hours each week.
