Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing local ICI projects in a General Contracting environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Consulting with clients and stakeholders to define project controls, ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Drafting and managing contracts for consultants, specialists, and contractors, including endorsements, amendments, and change orders.
  • Overseeing consultant services, including drawings, specifications, supervision, and work acceptance.
  • Attending site meetings with professionals and subcontractors to ensure project alignment and resolve issues.
  • Monitoring project costs, managing change orders, and supervising all site activities.
  • Contributing to the development and updating of project schedules and participating in contract negotiations.
  • Managing customer and subcontractor payment requests, reviewing shop drawings and samples, and addressing technical questions related to plans and specifications.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting progress to stakeholders.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • 5-8 years of experience managing local ICI projects in a General Contracting environment.
  • A strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and industry standards.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with project management software and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Possession of a degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, with PMP certification or similar being a plus.
