Construction Laborer

Rafat General Contracting is seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team. As a Construction Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting skilled tradespersons with various tasks on construction sites. Your duties will include loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials, erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades. You will also mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, and assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction. Additionally, you will assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites, and level earth to fine grade specifications. Other responsibilities include paving and raking asphalt, assisting in demolishing buildings, cleaning and piling salvaged materials, and cleaning up chemical spills and other contaminants. You will also remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, and direct traffic at or near construction sites.
