Underwriter, Private and Non-Profit, Financial Lines Specialist

Key Responsibilities- Underwrite and assess risk for AIG's Private & Non-Profit portfolio within Financial Lines, including Directors & Officers Liability, Employment Practices Liability, Fiduciary Liability, and Fidelity insurance coverages.
- Manage and service an existing renewal book of management liability insurance, as well as produce and underwrite new accounts from brokers.
- Conduct pricing analysis using data analytics and modeling tools.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients.
- Present insurance solutions to brokers and insureds.
- Achieve assigned budget targets and maintain profitability across the portfolio.
- Drive change management by implementing underwriting, service, and process improvements.
- Ensure files are well-documented and comply with company and department standards.
- Minimum 2 years of Management Liability underwriting experience.
- Post-secondary education or equivalent industry education and experience.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
- Strong analysis and decision-making skills.
- Confident knowledge of systems and PC applications, especially spreadsheets.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Comfort with analytical tools and technology.
- Desire to stay up-to-date with industry, legal, and regulatory trends.
