Job Description

Guillevin International is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Warehouse Clerk. Reporting to the Business Centre Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, verifying, and stocking merchandise, preparing orders, packing goods, and shipping orders in a timely manner.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the warehouse is maintained in a tidy and organized manner, with merchandise placed in the correct location.
  • Ensure productivity and safety in the warehouse and yard areas.
  • Fill orders accurately and on time, with a focus on meeting customer expectations.
  • Pack goods for damage-free shipment and ship orders in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Offload trucks, check for missing or damaged merchandise, and verify shipments.
  • Receive and verify shipments, placing merchandise in stock in an orderly fashion and re-arranging as required.
  • Locate related customer back-orders and advise customers of their arrival.
  • Maintain merchandise displays in an attractive manner.
  • Keep the warehouse tidy, ensuring productivity and safety in the warehouse.
  • Provide sales support at the counter as needed, greeting customers, preparing orders, merchandising, and other assigned tasks.
  • Deliver orders when required.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a similar position is an asset.
  • Excellent verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised and meet key deadlines.
  • Team player, adaptable, energetic, with a positive professional attitude.
  • Demonstrated initiative to self-improvement of business and product skills.
  • Good PC skills, including MS Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Proactive in finding ways to improve productivity in the warehouse.
  • Ability to handle items under 50lbs.
  • Valid forklift certificate is an asset; otherwise, training will be provided.
  • Full G driver's license.
