TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join our client's manufacturing team. This role offers a challenging opportunity to lead a team of production staff, plan and coordinate work activities, and drive business results.
Responsibilities:- Manage production, personnel, quality, and safety requirements.
- Lead and motivate production staff to achieve production goals.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Manage departmental inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of products.
- Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business results.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in a print or packaging manufacturing environment.
- 2+ years of demonstrated leadership experience on the production floor.
- A university degree or college diploma in Engineering/Operations Management or related experience.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with experience in dealing with personnel issues including coaching, discipline, and health/safety compliance.
- Experience implementing continuous improvement efforts would be ideal.
- Good English verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical ability, problem-solving, and detail orientation.
- Ability to influence others and effectively work in a team.
- Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
