Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving a tractor-trailer combination over long distances, transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination over long distances, following all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Load and unload goods and materials, ensuring safe and efficient handling.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs and maintenance as needed.
Requirements:
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Valid passport
  • Bondable
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willing to travel for extended periods
  • Willing to travel overnight
