At Scotiabank, we're seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead our Finance and Vendor Management team. This is a hybrid role that offers the opportunity to work from various locations in Canada.

About the Role

We're looking for a results-driven professional with strong leadership skills to oversee the finance and vendor governance teams. As a Senior Manager, you'll be responsible for managing vendor service level agreements, financial management, staffing, and project governance. Your expertise will drive business growth, improve processes, and foster a high-performance environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive customer-focused culture throughout the team
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements for technology vendors supporting HR functions
  • Oversee annual operating budget, including financial forecasting and payment of invoices
  • Lead staffing, hiring processes, and resource onboarding
  • Ensure effective project delivery through governance, status reporting, and meetings
  • Collaborate with the Director of Strategy and Delivery Management on initiative capacity planning, portfolio review, and audit
  • Update the Business Continuity Plan annually and conduct call tree tests
  • Implement quarterly Business Promoter Score surveys with the communications team and HR technology leadership
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within and across departments
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Strong organizational, self-disciplined, and team player skills
  • Excellent numeracy and financial acumen with prior experience in financial and budget analysis
  • Creative, self-starting, results-oriented individual with strong analytical skills
  • Proven interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Spanish language fluency an asset

Estimated Salary Range:

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience
