About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee the day-to-day activities of our Legal Claims team as Executive Lead - Legal Claims Operations. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the career development, engagement, and operations of a dynamic group of Legal Assistants and Law Clerks.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day responsibilities of the Law Clerks and Legal Assistants, ensuring effective workflow and productivity.
  • Establish and communicate clear performance objectives for your team, measuring progress and providing ongoing feedback.
  • Maintain high employee engagement by monitoring overall engagement and creating action plans to address any areas of concern.
  • Assess team strengths and opportunities, providing recommendations for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Lead regular team meetings, one-on-ones, and huddles to ensure open communication and information flow.
Requirements:
  • A university degree or college diploma in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience as a people leader within a legal environment, with a strong understanding of legal procedures and policies.
  • Excellent project management skills, with experience leading teams and implementing change initiatives.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with a focus on driving results, engaging employees, and promoting a positive work culture.
