Structural Engineer

destinationone Consulting is seeking a skilled Structural Engineer/Building Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of building structures to ensure they are safe, functional, and compliant with local codes and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop detailed engineering plans, specifications, and drawings that meet local building codes and safety standards.
- Conduct structural assessments and evaluations of existing buildings to determine their condition and compliance with current codes and regulations.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering professionals to ensure that designs are feasible and meet project requirements.
- Oversee and review construction processes to ensure that structural elements are built according to specifications and standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support during the construction phase, addressing any structural issues or challenges that arise.
- Prepare and maintain detailed reports and documentation related to structural designs, evaluations, and construction activities.
- Relevant certification or diploma in Structural Engineering, Building Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a structural engineer or building engineer with a strong understanding of structural design, analysis, and construction.
- Proficiency in engineering software and tools used for structural analysis and design.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and resolve complex engineering challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with project teams and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for managing design projects and documentation.
