Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Drive Vehicles: Safely operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.
  • Customer Service: Provide professional customer service to our clients and customers.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch and communicate effectively with team members.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Sell products over established routes and assemble, install, and set up merchandise/products.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
  • Trip Planning: Use maps and other trip planning aids to plan and navigate routes.
  • Record Keeping: Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance.
Requirements
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence: Possess a valid Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Transportation Experience: Have local and regional transportation/travel experience.
  • Driving Record: Have a clean driving record with no major infractions.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to handle physically demanding tasks, including handling heavy loads and working in a fast-paced environment.
