About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Noodles Express. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages for our customers.
    • Ensure that all food is handled, stored, and served in a clean and sanitary manner.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including equipment, utensils, and workstations.
    • Sanitize all food contact surfaces and equipment according to company standards.
  • Supply Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Ensure that all supplies are properly labeled and stored in designated areas.
  • Waste Management
    • Remove kitchen garbage and trash in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Ensure that all waste is properly disposed of and recycled when possible.
  • General Kitchen Duties
    • Assist with loading and unloading dishes, utensils, and equipment.
    • Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience
    • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is an asset.
  • Physical Demands
    • This role requires standing for extended periods and lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
Working Conditions

This is a physically demanding role that requires working in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The successful candidate must be able to work well under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity in a team environment.

Language and Communication

The primary language of communication in this role is English. The successful candidate must be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and management in English.
