Job Title: Mental Health Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Bayshore HealthCare. As a Mental Health Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to our clients in a primary health care setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and provide nursing care to clients with mental health issues
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Provide counseling services in individual and group therapy sessions
  • Conduct bio-psychosocial assessments and medication management
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care

Requirements:

  • Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from a recognized university
  • Current and valid nursing license in Ontario
  • Certificate of Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider or CPR/AED Level C
  • Minimum of three (3) years of full-time experience in nursing practice performing Mental Health nursing activities
