Key Responsibilities

- Act as the conduit for the submission and evaluation of ideas and proposals prior to presentation to the Strategic Leadership team.
- Develop and review business cases, anticipating internal and external challenges and impacts to proactively recommend solutions and improvements.
- Collaborate with Financial Planning & Analysis and the Enterprise Project Management Office.
- Drive business insights by gathering, reviewing, and testing data to provide solutions to key business decisions.
- Develop strong relationships with subject matter experts and colleagues both within and outside of Western, while identifying collaboration opportunities that can enhance the organization and advance corporate or departmental objectives.
- Provide analytical support to all aspects of Merger and Acquisition activity.
- Conduct market/customer research, trends, and competitor analysis to drive income, increase yield, improve market share, and enhance customer loyalty.
- Present findings to Senior Leaders and Executive Leadership, communicating complex concepts, anticipating potential objections, and influencing senior executives to integrate a different point of view.
- Create a centralized workforce tool for local channels to ensure that our people are aligned to customer demand across the network.
- Deliver relevant insights to help the company make the right decisions, address key challenges, and identify new ways to grow.

Requirements

- Proven experience developing and implementing enterprise-wide strategy.
- Experience interpreting and analyzing outliers and trends in reported metrics.
- Ability to define, design, develop, and document KPIs for presentation of results to Executive Leaders.
- Ability to draw insights from various data sources.
- Ability to work autonomously, get things done, and keep your leader informed.
- Advanced experience with MS Office, with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.
- Post-secondary education in Strategic Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Financial or Accounting Designation an asset (CPA, CFA, etc.).
