Summary of Duties: Under the direction of the Housekeeping and Laundry Manager, the Housekeeping Cleaner performs a variety of floor care and heavy cleaning projects in public spaces and resident rooms. They transport heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies throughout the facility as needed, collect and dispose of garbage, attend to minor maintenance calls in the absence of maintenance as needed, and perform other related duties.

Required Qualifications: Grade 10 or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, such as Building Service Worker training. Skills and abilities include the ability to operate other related equipment, communicate effectively, deal effectively with others, organize work, work independently, and physically carry out duties safely and in conformity to the facility's standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform floor care and heavy cleaning projects in public spaces and resident rooms.
  • Transport heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies throughout the facility as needed.
  • Collect and dispose of garbage.
  • Attend to minor maintenance calls in the absence of maintenance as needed.

Working Conditions: The Housekeeping Cleaner works in a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing excellent customer service. They must be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.

What We Offer: We offer a competitive hourly wage of $24.34, a casual job type, and a rotational schedule with days and evenings available.
