Job Description

The Quartz Platform team is now embarking on a core refresh of the platform to modernize it with capabilities required to meet our users' future needs. As a part of this initiative, we are seeking an experienced software engineer with solid CS knowledge and a track record of delivery on at least one large project in a relevant area. This person will be responsible for owning and independently implementing one part of a complex project while collaborating effectively with the owners of other parts.

This role involves contributing to the technology that will redefine the future of our business. The successful candidate will become part of the Quartz Core Platform's Grid team, which is building and re-architecting a distributed compute platform that is geographically spread out and running over a billion tasks for thousands of applications a day.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and implement scalable and efficient grid compute systems
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment
3. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner
4. Develop and maintain high-quality documentation and knowledge sharing processes
