Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Counter Clerk to join our team at Canada Post Corp. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, processing transactions, and maintaining a high level of postal products and services knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent service to all customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Transaction Processing: Operate a computerized point of sale system, process financial transactions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a high level of knowledge about postal products and services, including rates, regulations, and promotions.
  • Mail and Package Handling: Receive, sort, and sequence mail items, and handle packages with care.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in a retail or service industry.
  • Sales Experience: Sales experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 22.7 kilograms (50 pounds) and stand for long periods.
