Job Description
This position is responsible for ensuring equal opportunity in employment, treating all persons equally and on the basis of merit.
- The role involves visiting client facilities, including barges and ships, shore tanks, railcars, and tank trucks for quantity surveys of various commodities.
- You will obtain samples, gauge tanks, vessels, barges, railcars, and/or tank trucks as specified per job order.
- Promptly and safely deliver samples to the laboratory for analysis or turn them in for retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Reports to job-site punctually and observes all applicable company federal and state regulations, Terminal, Refinery, and/or vessel requirements, including safety and measurement standards.
- Collects samples and labels containers with identifying data, including location, material, sample type, safety information, time collected, etc.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- A valid driver's license and a working vehicle (car or truck) at all times.
