Job Description

This position is responsible for ensuring equal opportunity in employment, treating all persons equally and on the basis of merit.

  • The role involves visiting client facilities, including barges and ships, shore tanks, railcars, and tank trucks for quantity surveys of various commodities.
  • You will obtain samples, gauge tanks, vessels, barges, railcars, and/or tank trucks as specified per job order.
  • Promptly and safely deliver samples to the laboratory for analysis or turn them in for retention.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Reports to job-site punctually and observes all applicable company federal and state regulations, Terminal, Refinery, and/or vessel requirements, including safety and measurement standards.
  2. Collects samples and labels containers with identifying data, including location, material, sample type, safety information, time collected, etc.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • A valid driver's license and a working vehicle (car or truck) at all times.

Compensation
