Advanced Healthcare Specialist

Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RN/RPN) with Health Careers in Sask provides high-quality care to patients/residents/clients through assessment, planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation of their total care needs.
The RN/RPN coordinates with all departments, families, and professionals involved in patient/resident/client care, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
The RN/RPN participates in staff meetings and educational opportunities to maintain their professional competence and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in psychiatric nursing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, document, and evaluate patient/resident/client care needs
- Coordinate with departments, families, and professionals involved in patient/resident/client care
- Participate in staff meetings and educational opportunities to maintain professional competence
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent
- Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS) and/or the Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of SK
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
- Ability to work and communicate in a cross-cultural setting
