Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Medicine Hat Care Community Ltd. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Assist with meal preparation and serving
  • Help with light housekeeping and laundry
  • Assist with transportation and mobility
  • Monitor and report any changes in resident condition
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a healthcare aide training program
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
