Roofing Assistant

Homan Roofing Ltd. is seeking a skilled Roofing Assistant to join our team. As a Roofing Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers in various locations. Your duties will include loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials, erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades. You will also assist in demolishing buildings, cleaning and piling salvaged materials, and removing rubble and other debris at construction sites. Additionally, you will direct traffic at or near construction sites and help equipment operators secure attachments to equipment or trucks.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be physically demanding, and able to handle heavy loads. You will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and be required to perform repetitive tasks. The successful candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and be willing to train.
