Job Title: Fire Prevention Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Prevention Engineer to join our team at Professional Loss Control. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and reliability of our industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and lead a team of technicians, technologists, and engineers to ensure the safe operation of our facilities.
  • Develop and implement flexible and integrated manufacturing systems and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Conduct thorough studies on the reliability and performance of our plant facilities to identify areas for improvement.
  • Assess industrial facilities to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Establish and implement programs to enhance industrial health and safety, and identify and correct fire and other hazards.
  • Develop and maintain maintenance standards, schedules, and programs to ensure the optimal performance of our facilities.
  • Assess business opportunities and develop strategies to drive growth and profitability.
Requirements:
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association.
  • Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and Adobe Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of fire protection and industrial safety principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
