Position Overview

We are currently looking for a dependable and reliable Electrical Systems Integration Professional to work with our RMC Group division. The primary responsibilities will involve supporting the journeyman electrician with electrical issues throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install cable tray systems, conduit systems (Rigid, EMT and PVC), and grounding/bonding.
  • Install, glanding, and terminations of Teck cables in accordance with industry standards.
  • Read, interpret, and execute drawings, schematics, blueprints, and electrical code specifications to see layout of industrial electrical installations.
  • Test electrical equipment and parts for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
  • Install, repair, or replace AC/DC motors and drives, transformers, motors, starters, relays, and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical controls.
  • Install, repair, or replace electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, and lighting.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and testing on electrical systems, including power distribution equipment.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in using technology and software tools for work-related tasks.
  • Actively participate in the company's safety program and initiatives to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a first-year electrical apprentice program or recently completed.
  • Must have a valid class 5 driver's license.
  • Must be willing to work overtime when needed.
