Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Installation Technician I to join our team. As an Installation Technician I, you will be responsible for performing installation tasks on AVI-SPL contracted projects. This includes cable pulls, cable terminations, system equipment and components, rack systems and metal fabrication per project directives and requirements. You will coordinate with the Lead Technician to ensure projects achieve time, scope, budget, quality, safety and customer satisfaction requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform installation tasks as noted in the job summary and in support of the Lead Technician
- Read and interpret electronic, signal flow schematics and architectural blueprints
- Use hand tools, power tools and testing equipment to include soldering, crimping various types of connectors along with various other AV systems related tasks
- Assist the Lead Technician with management and security of all associated equipment and tools on job sites
- Assist with basic mechanical fabrication and basic rack wiring
- Travel to various job sites as required

Requirements

- Effectively communicate with employees, customers and colleagues
- Ability to use hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner
- Ability to understand and operate various AV related testing equipment
- Ability to work and think independently and meet deadlines
- Basic to intermediate computer knowledge
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driver's abstract that meets AVI-SPL Driving Privileges standards
