Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder Specialist to join our team at AVS Systems Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication and welding, with the ability to interpret specifications and operate various equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret welding process specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, including flame-cutting machines
  • Examine welds for quality and accuracy
  • Maintain and repair welding equipment as needed
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail and hand-eye coordination. The ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) is also required.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in metal fabrication and welding
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
