About the RoleAs a Quality Control Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our meat processing and packing plant. Your primary duties will include training staff and workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies, as well as preparing production and other reports.
You will also be required to supervise a team of up to 20 people, including industrial butchers, meat cutters, poultry preparers, and labourers in food, beverage, and tobacco processing.

In addition to your technical skills, you will need to possess excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Requirements- Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) Certification
- Cleanliness In Place (CIP) and Sanitizing In Place (SIP) Systems knowledge
- Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) regulations knowledge
- Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance of machinery and equipment
- Steel-toed safety boots
The ideal candidate will have a secondary school graduation certificate and relevant experience, with a strong focus on attention to detail, organization, and teamwork.
