Job Overview

The Communications and Knowledge Management Specialist will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality content to support our Client Services team. This includes writing, editing, and coordinating content for our knowledge management platform, as well as assisting with various communications and knowledge work packages associated with projects and implementations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain content for our Client Services knowledge management platform, ensuring it's accurate, up-to-date, and engaging.
  • Assist with communications and knowledge work packages, providing support for project implementations and ensuring successful execution.
  • Write and edit internal communication pieces, adhering to our brand guidelines and style.
  • Develop and execute external Advisor communication pieces, utilizing Marketing Cloud to reach our target audience.
  • Maintain high standards of quality in all writing, including grammar, structure, and plain business language.
  • Support the development and delivery of communication plans, considering the needs of our Service team and clients.
  • Stay informed about company updates and ensure effective communication of these changes.
  • Proactively seek feedback to enhance communications and knowledge articles, improving usability and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a service-oriented role.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in Financial Services.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a communications and/or knowledge management role.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation skills.
  • Experience working with Salesforce is considered an asset.
  • Subject matter expertise in CI and Assante processes is an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with various teams.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, manage competing tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work proficiently both independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to effectively liaise with other business units and project teams.
  • Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.
  • Solid knowledge of the products and services offered by CI and Assante.
  • Knowledge of financial markets, mutual funds, and other investment products.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
