Job Description

As a Senior Java Developer, you will play a key role in designing, testing, implementing, and supporting complex software components and applications.

  1. You will work closely with our business stakeholders to analyze complex business requirements and generate technical specifications to design or redesign software components and applications.
  2. With your expertise in modeling, simulation, and analysis, you will provide technical guidance to ensure that solutions meet quality, security, and compliance requirements.
  3. In this role, you will also leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement, and support software solutions.

Your daily tasks will include:

  • Designing and developing complex software components and applications
  • Testing and debugging software code
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues

We are looking for a talented and experienced Java Developer who can lead our team and contribute to the success of our software projects.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  2. 10+ years of experience in core Java development (version 8.0 or above)
  3. 8+ years of experience with database development using SQL
  4. 5+ years of experience with Spring Boot
  5. 3+ years of experience with front-end GUI development (JavaScript/Angular)

Nice-to-have skills include:

  • Experience with development using Kafka
  • Experience with Nifi
  • Recent Capital Markets Murex experience is a plus

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year

This salary estimate is based on national averages and may vary depending on location and other factors.
